KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (m/f/d) D/A/C/H + POLAND
The company’s Bakers Yeast and Ingredients units serve the needs of the Baking Industry, delivering leading edge, technology based, yeast, enzyme and specialty ingredient products. These core products are complemented with added value services for the baker. These include competent, regionally based Technical Sales Managers able to offer technical advice and problem solving, a fully fledged product development capability to collaborate with customers, R&D and marketing departments, and a training center offering certified training and development courses. In addition the company’s Baking Solutions Group, specializes in the development and application of enzyme-based dough conditioners, yeast-based dough relaxers and sour dough starters. In order to strengthen further the worldwide activities the company is looking for a Key Account Manager (m/f/d) D/A/CH + Poland.
Responsible for the full company’s Baking Solutions portfolio
Responsible for the development and management of a number of major bakery accounts, both in Germany and in other named markets.
Design and implement individual customer commercial strategies/plans to deliver on commercial targets. Independent work to achieve sales goals through contacts at different levels with existing and potential customers.
Drive various technical/application projects with multi-country key account management team, both commercial and technically.
Full independent budget responsibility for a number of industrial bakery groups.
An active role in sales planning; update/use of CRM, opportunity management and sales forecasting.
Working closely with Product Application & Marketing on the development & launch of new products and the EMEA Yeast commercial teams for the commercial coordination.
Ensure close and constant contact with the industry, primarily through customer visits.
Supporting baking industry customers technically in their use of enzyme, yeast and culture based ingredients in product development, typically through application development work.
Collection and reporting of market information.
Active participant in the company's application development activities in close cooperation with the Technology Centre
Practical bakery experience combined with proven commercial proficiency and/or education.
You have good experience with sales and contact to the German and Central European baking sector, preferably in the area of bakery ingredients
You have an excellent network in the industry and focus on creating value for your customers
You are an experienced negotiator, persistent and disciplined in your follow-up. You are impactful and you have patience and the necessary overview to independently handle a long-term sales process.
With your insight, you can support industrial bakeries with technical insight and product development, typically through recipe development and test baking
It's an advantage if you have the experience and talent to communicate your ideas, for example recipes, use of ingredients, market trends, regulatory news and thus actively contribute to our marketing and PR material
You will be combining your time between your home office, customer visits and the Technology Centre in Holland.
You must be fluent in German and have good English proficiency
